Laré A (born 1994, Nkawkaw, Ghana) is an internationally-published photographer currently based in London, UK. She is fascinated with documenting stories within the community that have been muted as a result of representation.

Her work has been featured by organisations such as British Vogue, Vogue Beauty, E! News, OK COOL, We Are Soul, Mimp Magazine, Kanaiza Gallery and more.

By exploring the concept of connections and intimacy in a nostalgic way, Laré investigates the dynamics of love within the black community, including the manipulation of its effects and the limits of spectacle based on our assumptions of what it means to us.

Here photos and videos establish a link between the reality and that imagined by its conceiver. They focus on concrete questions that determine our existence. There is warmth, familiarity and kindness in each thesis.
